Stock KA 1/4 times

So last nite i went to TMP, i wanted to see what this bitch runs before the boost comes. ran 7 times, 5 of those 7 had r/t of less than .10 sec…

The best times i pulled off were
16.6 , 16.7 , 17.3 and the rest were even higher due to my bald tires and 2nd gear misses.

anyone else got numbers from their KA’s

AFAIK DOHC KA is listed as 16.1 stock.

No doubt some extra KM, bald tires, and slow shifts won’t help that number
anyways.

The RT is pretty good, boost will be bettar.

I G-teched a 16.5 @ 84 mph w/ a fully-loaded LE. Great launch, fast shifting right at the redline…all I could make out from the engine was:

“I want boost please sir!”

GTech sucks.

mine ran 16.7 93 LE with a KA i only did 2 runs

i ran 16.9 with my KA thats with full sterio stock wheels with crap tires on the back and my 17s up front. not to bad. i may run it again tomorrow in grand bend.

My 90 with a KA24E, 180,000+ Km ran a 16.4@87…
Only mods at the time were a K&N Filter and a Can.
This yr i have a Injen Intake, Highflow Cat and Catback exhaust plus a stage 2 clutch. Im hoping once i get my header i will break into the 15’s but will see.
Its not odd to see the DOHC’s running 15s with a few bolt ons.

i ran a 16.0 on an intake and muffler at cayuga. The weather was pretty cool so that helped.

In my old '95, I pulled a 15.8 at 88mph. That was with a clutch and a filter.

I just ran my '97 a couple weeks ago and pulled a 16.031 at 86.04. That was with the same mods, a clutch and filter. I think that could be improved on by installing subframe spacers as I was bouncing like crazy. The next closest run in the '97 was a 16.146 at 85.95.

I think I blew my 3rd gear syncro…
