Ventless gas fireplace insert.

I bought this from Home Depot two years ago and only turned it maye 4 times. Its like new. I think I payed $229 for it, anyway it comes with the 1/2 gas line and screen for the front for $130. Its for natural gas. Its dusty from me taking down three stories of chimney above it. i will not need it as the fireplace is now gone.

GLWS, I like my Vent free insert

Any offers? Winters coming…

Bump $100

did you have this installed by them or do it yourself? i bought one of the whole fireplace models and it has been a decorative piece for 2 years…know of anyone who can install these?

Did it myself. Its just a gas connection.

getting the gas to my living room is the issue. i prob need like 30’ of hose.

Hope by “hose” I hope you mean black pipe. Running natural gas through your house should never be done with anything but rigid pipe.

what about the hose for a dryer or stove. that is what i meant by that. these are the reasons it is not done yet lol. if i have to do black pipe it is gonna be a pain.

False.

CSST is a perfectly acceptable building system for gas. It does carry bonding requirements that make it equally hard as rigid to install if you are not redoing the whole system.
