Looks like Verizon finally addressed this and streams HD from the main DVR box to the other boxes now. Saw the advertisements for it just the other day.
I just got mine installed but haven’t tested this yet.

Interesting. That makes the $20 a month you’re paying for that feature a little less annoying.
What do you have for hardware and what are your recurring hardware rental costs?
Haven’t even looked at what model set top boxes I have but can get that for you later.
I think total hardware rental costs are around $36/mo.
Watching DVR from other rooms is AMAZING. I have that now with ATT U-Verse. It fucking rocks.

Well, it won’t be a big change for TV since I have dish network now with HD and HD DVR. But yeah, going from 10/1 to 25/15 is going to be SWEEEEET!
Be prepared for Dish Network to call you once a week for the next 6 months…happened when i closed the acct at my college house
Someone will be getting threatened if that BS keeps up after I tell them to stop calling. 
They better not piss me off. I’d referred a bunch of business to them, and honestly, I still love their service. I’m just tired of TW bullshit (now my cable modem keeps locking up and they don’t know why) and to get a good deal I had to bundle FIOS internet with TV.
I actually loved when they called me. They would offer me all of these great retention deals to sign back up and I’d be like “Actually, I did sign back up. xxx account number. But since you offered, apply them to my current account.” And they would.

Just a heads up for those of you getting FIOS… they will bury the fiber run from the poll to your house if you ask. He offered because I was complaining about how low the TW cable hung down. For now they’re just running it across my yard but sometime soon they’ll come back and bury it. He said the machine looks like a chain saw and makes just a tiny notch in your grass that quickly will grow back over.

Working from home on my laptop tethered to my iphone since I had them re-use the hole in my brick house that Dish/TW come in on, so right now I don’t have jack shit for connectivity.
Called Dish Network and canceled already. The retention guy sounded like he was going to cry over losing a 3 year top tier customer.

This is cheaper than what Verizon is selling it for. Too bad you can’t buy TV service from them as well.
Might be a good deal for someone who wants to keep cable tv to watch Sabres HD, or Canadian channels…
Speedtest.net results showed 25 Meg down, 18 up.
And their DVR does have a 30 second skip forward button.
Installer was here from 9am till almost 4pm. Did a top notch job running cables where/how I wanted.
