So after flashing several drives fine, the last two I’ve done have frozen, and as such, become temporarily bricked. (BenQ’s) I’ve changed out every other variable (XBOX, PC, flashing program used, SATA cable) so the only thing left bad has to be my VIA card. It took 24 hours just to read a drive which leads me to believe even more that it’s the SATA card.
I have the firmware I want for each drive on a bootable flash drive, (with DOSFLASH which you need usually to read an erased drive) along with the 2 box’s open. If you don’t want to disconnect, I can come to you and try them on your setup. I can also pick up the card and try it on mine. Whatever’s easier for you. I’ve been without an XBOX for about a month now and I need to pwn some n00bs!
