If anyone has $200,000 laying around…miiiiight wanna jump on these Honda’s =P

FUCK, how is someone supposed to clear all of those bikes out of there? what sucks is lack of paperwork means most of those bikes are only good for parts. Someone with time and the room to do it could make a fortune parting out 300 bikes…what a shame none of them are worth reviving without paperwork.

Not really. Even if you can make 1000 per bike on average, which I doubt, it still won’t be worth it.

From the link:

"I am selling out my personal collection of vintage bikes . I have in the neighborhood of 300 lets call them rollig chassies ? Very little paer work . will be doing inventory in the next month , for example I have about 17 single over head cam Honda 750 's , about 8 trail 70’s , some Kaw 2 strokes , 5 or so Honda 1000 goldwings .8 or so Honda trail 90’s , couple trail 50’s ?Most are 70’s models and early 80’s , If I can’t unload them in one package will be having a live auction .

Do not use EBAYS checkout , wait till I can invoice you please ! 507-433-3750,

I use the shipping calculator for shipping so please don’t whine about the cost after the fact . I very rarly use USPS , ever filed a claim with the goverment ? So if the price of the item with shipping is too high simply pass! I have make an offer in every add ,if you think I’m too high make an offer as long as it aint silly .High dollar items we will not be using Pay pal or credit cards ."

1981 Yamaha Virago XV750 - $400

http://buffalo.craigslist.org/mcy/3777904043.html

Now, I KNOW virago’s have a total shit reputation due to their horrendous starter system and pain in the ass carb setup…BUT…they look WAY cool when done up totally custom, and single carb kits are super plentiful for these. They look awesome as Cafe’s, Bobbers, and even streetfighter type builds look cool on these. The motors are pretty torquey down low which make for a fun around-town scoot. The wheels are hideous, but XV535 spoked wheels are nearly a direct swap so you COULD run custom rings and spokes to get into just about any size/type of tire you desire.

it’s cheap! someone make it rad!

1977 Yamaha XS500 - $200

http://buffalo.craigslist.org/mcy/3801392561.html

says torn down for motor work due to low compression, but says all is there and titled. could probably snag this for $100 and get wrenchin’!

1978 Kawasaki KZ650 - $850

http://buffalo.craigslist.org/mcy/3799672179.html

flat black paint but otherwise looks to be a great bike.

1982 Yamaha Maxim 650 - $350

http://buffalo.craigslist.org/mcy/3797221795.html

Looks like it’s all there…prefect start to a project…just rebuild the carbs and go from there. CHEAP!

AS you guys can tell, deals are drying up fast…so grab one while you can!

I wonder how similar the KZ650 is to a KZ400
My 75 KZ400 needs carbs and I noticed that there is an oil spot under the right fork :frowning:

+Karma for this thread.

carbs will be sized differently, but spacing/mounting have a really good chance of being the same. The size difference could play nicely with upgraded exhaust, air filters or stacks, and electronic ignition upgrades…which could be a real benefit. oil under the fork is leaky fork seals…they are usually under $25 for a pair and very easy to do, watch a youtube video on it.

1979 Suzuki GS550 - $600

http://buffalo.craigslist.org/mcy/3806379211.html

pretty straightforward good deal here

1981 Honda CB650 - $1200

http://buffalo.craigslist.org/mcy/3806332042.html

I don’t have to repeat myself on how awesome cb650’s are…size/agility of the ealier 500/550, with nearly the same power as the larger 750. last year of the SOHC honda’s.

1976 Kawasaki KZ400 - $350

http://buffalo.craigslist.org/mcy/3835615096.html

Has tons of spares/upgrade parts with it…bike is just disasembled (this is becoming more and more common where someone takes on a project and gives up after tearing it apart, dickheads) If you’re willing to put in the effort to re-assemble this is a great price.

1984 Kawasaki KZ440 - $975

http://buffalo.craigslist.org/mcy/3835534992.html

sounds like a runner just needing some maintenance parts. decent price depending on condition

1982 Honda CX500 Turbo - $3500

(2) Kawasaki KZ650’s for $1900

http://buffalo.craigslist.org/mcy/3792104063.html

at least one runs, unclear if second one being “thrown in” also runs or has title. price is good if both bikes are capable of running with basic maintenance and have titles

claims just needs a battery and some maintenance…might be a solid score

1979 Harley Ironhead Sportster - $2200

http://buffalo.craigslist.org/mcy/3838495147.html

I generally really hate harleys for various reasons…but this is quite reasonably priced compared to what else is out there so I figured I’d toss it up in case someone into HD’s would be interested

1982 Yamaha XS650 - $250

http://buffalo.craigslist.org/mcy/3838378200.html
