Go cry elsewhere. You know people like Dan, me and others that are doing great things locally to cars share it here for you guys to enjoy. Then there are always the annoying ass nitpickers that make it so we don’t feel like it and you ruin it for everyone. Not to mention about 99% of the time when I have to debate with someone they have 0 experience, their thought process is crap, or possibly based on something they read and have 0 experience with. Basically just enjoy that he shares this kind of material for you to view.
Thread cleaned. BS criticism like having something stupid to say about a 100% properly put together wire harness that just isn’t wrapped yet is going to be met with infractions. This goes for all builds.

It was an on-topic discussion. Just because his opinion was wrong, doesn’t mean it should be deleted. There was actually good information in the responses (wire size issues when re-pinning a connector, explaining the proper way to splice, etc…)
I thought that was the point of discussion boards…

I agree but it was clouding up this thread. Dan’s kind enough to share his work with us and we all appreciate it. The responses were not THAT harsh, but we all know when some guys put a lot of time and effort into a build, comments from the crowd can be more than annoying to them.

Well, I think its time for a minor update.
Yellow car is long since delivered and in the process of making me enemies I have never met… and it isn’t even tuned yet due to computer firmware updates and shitty weather ever since.
Orange car is now in the same boat, completed and off in storage w/a base tune for moving it around… exactly where/how it will sit until the owner decides to pick it up. Has been “done” for a while now, but the weather was making it a god damn joke to try and get a base tune in it to move it over to storage.

They are both “extreme street” packages as they are not configured as dedicated drag or road course cars. However, that doesn’t mean much in the Viper world. Either of the cars is a set of wheels/tires away from the track. The Orange one has Big Brakes, Moton Suspension, Quaife, Roll Bar, Articulating Oil Pickup, etc… the Yellow One has Koni Suspension, Aero mods, 5-points, Actively Baffled Oil Pan, and Big Brakes w/new wheels & tires are the next items to be added.
I use to be a “viper hater”. I recently saw a legit ACR in person. Fantastic looking.
The orange one posted here looks real good too.
with 1500 hp what are the ricer specs of these!!! top speed, 0-60, 1/4 mi
There really isn’t anything “earth shattering” about the ACR. Its basically just a coupe with front and rear Aero, different wheels/tires/rotors and shocks. Not that its not a good package, but the aftermarket has better components- except for the Aero. The Aero package is world class, but also available separately.
I just really liked the overall appearance of it. Red on Black.
