when when hit the “start” (blue orb) and then click on the bower button my computer use to go into ‘sleep mode’ and it would shut off. but now all the sudden when i hit that button all it does not turn off the computer. how can i change it back?
Click on the arrow next to the lock in the same button bar as the power off button. Choose which type of shutdown you want and it should do that the next time you click the power button in the menu.
At least that’s what happens with my vista machine at work.

no, selecting sleep on the arrow does the same thing as the power button

thats odd i dont have that option but i hit restore defaults and it works again…:shrug:
