ok you know how when you turn your key to the on position and the ECU comes on, and your car kind of does a self check. (i.e. the fuel pump primes, the relay will click, dash lights come on for 5 secs. Ok well my CEL will sit there and flicker and you can hear the relays go nuts, but only when the key is in the on position, then sometime when you pull the key out everything is still going nuts. This is why i think the IGN. switch may be bad, it was 10 bucks i;ll try it and hope it works, the car is pretty much turning into a rust bucket and may end up being more trouble than i thought so if this dosen’t fix it, it’s proabably going to be striped, parted and scraped.
car is a vr6? if so i may be interested in trading you an civic ex for it even up.
