Ahmed, I have to admit, you actually got me worried. I was wondering when you were going to mention ‘stateside’.

You honestly haven’t seen the light in my opinion. Just because you THINK that these “serious car building people” have a good setup doesn’t make your suspension setup superior to everyone elses.

You can wear the same hat, same shirt, same gloves, and use the same golf club that Tiger Woods uses but that doesn’t make you better than everyone or as good as Tiger himself.

Like all your posts, you’re a hypocrite. I was right from day one when I went against what you said. (Telling everyone that stock brakes are suicide on wheels and that they NEED 300zx brakes) Key word once again, NEED.

Based on the kind of advice you give to other SONlings here…

You also really need to get off that high horse that some people here have mentioned. 240s have been around for 19 years if I’m not wrong? Do you really think that a lot of the stuff you mention is ‘unheard of’? There have been so many 240 builds and there are tons of products out there. I hate to burst your bubble but I think a lot of people have already heard of these ‘unheard of’ stuff that you speak of. You act like you’re some alien from another planet with technology that’s way more advanced than the shit that we have been using for years.

You can give advice but don’t go bashing stuff that you’ve never used.

Just humble yourself okay? If you really want people to say that you’re better than them that badly, I’m pretty sure they will say it.

Come on guys Ahmed is good guy it just tat ppl dont appreciate his advices so he ends up starting an argument.If hes wrong, tell him whats wrong!.
I think we need to respect each other more and agree. This way we can build a successful threads on SON.Give Ahmed a little space, believe me he’ll knock himself out lol.
I think hes very helpful guy in many ways specailly for noobs looking for sample answer. Hes the first to answer many questions tat I asked.All am trying say give him another chance and Mr.Ahmed be more mature and u will see nothing but success on SON and life.

Drifting is about personality for the most part, not performance. It’s not a race. I don’t see kids slamming their cars and then doing auto x or time attack or whatever. Those people also don’t come on here and tell everyone else they’re wrong for doing things their own way. They don’t come on here telling everyone they’re wrong for slamming their car and buying jdm color coilovers or whatever you called them.

You’re the only one doing this. That’s why everyone attacks everything you say because you think you’re right about everything.

I don’t want a comfortable ride, I don’t want superior suspension with the perfect adjustments. So stop telling me that I NEED to expand my mind.

I’m not sure if its me, but coming into a turn at 120km sideways, with nothing but body roll and shitty stance just doesn’t cut it.

Sorry your not a drift enthusiast Ahmed, but get use to being around them…this is the 240 scene, it’s what I do with it.

I’m not into drifting but I can definitely appreciate it for what it is. I don’t see why Ahmed has to hate on drifting and anything that’s JDM…

This is painful. Who cares what suspension setup your running or if the guy is e-thugging. If you have been given a second chance by the mods here and, WHEN THEY ARE WAITING FOR YOU TO GIVE THEM A REASON TO BAN YOU, then why are you giving them a reason.
If you have an opinion that is controversial then keep it to yourself. Stop bashing on others as a way to make yourself happy. Ahmed your not the only middle eastern/muslim on the forums you visit but your the only one that likes to make anti-US statements and piss people off. Why?
Im tired of being hated on just because when I tell people im half-middle eastern they turn around and tell me “are you Ahmed?” With a disgusted look on their faces.

And to the responses. Maybe then everyone doesn’t have to get all bent when I give advices which are contrary to drift-standards. For example. Getting pissed off when I say ‘sure get megans or stances if you just want to slam your car then’ won’t be resulted in butt hurt feelings. And when I start explaining a bit alternate choices that will be good for grip, that people don’t go “ooh uuh you dont know what you’re talking about” etc…

And it’s kind of ironic too, that people want to get ‘drift’ popular items yet most of you guys street your cars. It’s not like you WANT to slide around street corners… cmon.

Honestly, to be mature here… A-Ahmed, or whatever your name is now…if so many ppl have things to say about your behaviour, maybe you should take it as contructive critisicm and try and do something about it. The majority of ppl here as well as other forums don’t like you, which SHOULD send you some sort of message (this thread being the most obvious) you’re an ass, and ppl dont like you…FOR THE OBVIOUS reasons. I’ve never met you myself, but if you are getting this much negative “publicity”… i dunno what else to say man.

A few times I’ve read your posts completely and quite frankly, a lot of times it looks a lot of what 16 yr old flame-boys would write. Now im hearing that your are a man in this 20-30’s? and married? SERIOUSLY? How does your wife put up with this stuff?

Honestly i have yet to see where im not liked on other forums. I love son240 myths lol. Just like taurus and automatic jokes LMAO. Some people actually believed I put taurus brakes on my 240. And some people kept thinking I had an automatic past the time I converted to a manual (obviously I bought the car initially as an automatic). Some people even believing I don’t have an s car? Hilarious. So much so that they spread this hate to others that knew NOTHING about me and they started attacking me on zilvia.

Like I said I’m not liked by drifters and stretch nazis on zilvia, yet others liked me on zilvia, I opened up an alternative view to 240s, people don’t like that?? Even on here 2+ years ago when I insulted the holy grail of drifting to people and asked about time attacks, grip type stuff, people laughed at me and mocked me. I was called stupid for even thinking it lol. Then mark started track days (which is nice and I can’t wait until next year).

Even driftwerks i made peace with some of those guys when they went beyond son240 myths. “You were banned on all s chassis forums” uuh right. More myths. Not liked on Freshalloy? I think not. I met quite a few cool people on there :wink: Not liked on Nico? By a few SR fanboys maybe yup, who were too butt hurt about anything non-SR. Australia forum? Dutch forum? UK forum? Swedish forum? NewZeland forum? Texas forum? I can name quite a few. They’re descent guys, no problems?

Yeah, I’ll keep propagating an alternate view to s chassis cars, whether you hate it or not. I believe in 240s being more useful than sliding around. Some people may not like it, but it’s a car, not an icesled. And why not, I’ll keep propagating alternatives to drift/jdm-brands. People don’t need to be butt hurt about it.

And honestly everyone keeps talking about how they don’t want baller/bling things, and how their cars are daily, how they are cheap/don’t have money, yet when you are given a perfectly proven choice you respond in awkwardness. That’s why there’s argument. Why not be more inquisitive and accepting?

For example even people arguing about motor choices, it’s silly, or bashing KATs, there’s a guy on here who never posts who has one that is doing quite fine. He’s rebuilding one now with a gt42 in mind. He did it all himself, no outside help or shops, etc… Yet because it’s a foreign idea, people get emotional and spout raging ideas… Just because everyone has an SR on here doesn’t mean it’s the only way or right way either. I’m fine with that. However what I like to deal with is that when something is better, say it is, and why it is, not just go with the flow. It’s hilarious how many times I was seen in the city and someone asked me “so whacha got under there?”, “a stock KA”, “so when are you going SR?” and I chuckle.

Break the trend. Diversify in that sense as well. Our cars are not just drift-whores. People don’t have this problem in the UK or Germany. There cars are quite diverse. In Australia they do have a slight bias towards drift cars, but, they have some amazing rally and track cars as well. State-side drift-mania is everywhere but slowly a few individuals are proving otherwise. In Canada we here have everyone having this brand-fetish and automatically wanting to be a drifter, slammed, thank God not yet “stretched obsessed” like in the states, and that’s it. Mark started track days which is a wonderful thing though and I look forward to that again… but we are so close minded. I honestly don’t get into debates or arguments with other places around. They’re more open minded and accepting. Most car discussions remain just that, discussions. Yeah on zilvia people still get their heads bitten off if anyone questions stretched wheels :stuck_out_tongue: But I don’t waste my time with that anymore.

Go ahead and give people suggestions on how to set their car up for grip, if that’s what they’re asking. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s the way you do it that’s wrong. Obviously if you want to drift or grip your cars gonna be set up differently. Every post i’ve seen from you has just been your way or no way.

All of these ideas you got from someone else. It did not start with you. Don’t feel so special.
