i believe you wouldnt need to run power as long as you wire it to the computer correctly. but yes you do need a ground as well

you keep it grounded like it normally is, the switch goes between a 12v power source and the vtec engagement switch. you would cut the ecu out of the equation.

hey it works and its an easy fix, if he wants to get his vtec running while he waits then that works. its his choice leave it be.

:gay2:
If that is my opinion, It’s my choice, leave it be.:roll2:

Anyway to ghetto rig it so you have full vtec @ idle? Inquiring minds want to know.

reversing the locking pins on the valve train is the only way to do that
Im kinda on the same boat with all the jerkfaces. I mean is vtec really that important to you where you have to spend time out of your day to wire it up? I mean unless your some big time street racer :roll2: and you think that extra 5hp makes a difference then go for it. Take pics!
^ Without VTEK id be nowhere…
Really my car under VTEK is… Disapointing…

I prefer realist.
everyone in this thread will feel the wrath of my V-TECH
WHO AM I CALLING FIRST!!!
on a serious note just ground it out and dont go into vtec untill the car is warmed up. all it does is stop vtec from changing over when the car is cold and oil pressure isnt where it needs to be
