im going to have a slightly bigger turbo then factory… so this time im going to upgrade fuel pumps in my turbo six…
my question is
is the 255 worth it for me? im not to keen on the fuel pump sizes but i read threw a couple places saying the 255 can cause flooding @ the injector’s… some say it happens others don t.
is there a big difference between the 190 and 255?
my turbo’s just a tad bigger then stock so i can t see a big reason to go for the 255… but anyone with experience please let me know!
On darkstarts dsm yes the walbro was very loud and sounded like those 17 year cicadas we had a year or two ago but in my buddy’s wrx you didn’t even hear the 255 in his.

actually it just depends on how much of a bitch u are.either u can suck it up and simply ignore the noise or be a fucking pussy and complain about it…
255 is a great pump. you are prolly thinking about the high pressure 255 and flooding with out an adjustable fp reg. or maybe not.i have the hp in the ty and its good to 80 psi . got it from ron gregory.
i was reading somewhere that the 190’s good up to 300 hp
my motors all tq… meaning when upgraded everybody’s dyno’s are always 300 tq and say 200-240 whp
on your basic 1st gen turbo motor with bolt on’s… theres one 1st gen that broke 300 with n20 and boost… with 400 tq… 50 shot and tbird upgrade stock injectors
i just plan on keeping my motor in the area of 220-240 whp… then 300 tq…
so im probally good with the 190…
im not trying to make a crazy race car… just something in the 13.0-13.5 range
since where talking about fuel anybody have any idea what 330cc injectors are good for hp?
maybe ill just get the 255… ill dig up some graphs that show flow patterns…
if the motor ever blows ill build the fe3 which that black pgt i always post pics of has… there built like dsm’s

the price difference between the 2 is so minimal i wouldnt even consider getting the 190…
