i just dont see the point of asking ~100+ people with polar opposite views on cars opinions with no explanation of what made you choose those two cars, what you are looking for in this car, etc.

all i got out of this thread is “i have money now and im looking to spend it”

Wow I didn’t know I was getting a lambo or something expensive like that…the mercedes is about 10k more than a evo, so its not a publicity stunt. Funny I don’t recall cossey or anyone else with a nice car get shit for it. I’m only asking for a suggestion cuz I don’t know too much about either car.

Save the rest. Get all certified used (big discount) with like 15-20k on the clock.

Spending $70k+ on a car is NOT SMART unless came into over a million. I don’t know how much money you came into, but I suggest you not get a really expensive car with it.

Did you know a lot of the people who win the lottery end up not doing so good after a while because they blow it on stupid crap?

Lets say you came into $200k (by all standardds, a lot of money). And you buy the above cars (one of them). That’s like 40% of the money down the drain for something that DEPRECIATES. As opposed to spending $25-35k on a used M45 Sport with under 30k miles, and by all means a piece of automotive luxury.

If you don’t want money opinions, then you shouldn’t have posted on here. You are thinking what you want to think, not what you should think (which is, “How do I best invest this?”). You don’t NEED a $80k car. You can get the same car for $30k slightly used.

Take a step back and look at your situation and the money. Like Travis said, pay for your childs education NOW. Buy a house. Etc.

I think, like me, many of us here would hate to see you blow it all away on silly things. Many of us have seen it happen on forums such as this one.
