Yeah but here is the issue. Everyone who goes KA-T wants a turbo, so when that KA-T setup doesn’t work out…what do they do? They go SR.
I think almost everyone I know with the exception of 1 person who has gone KA-T, has gone SR after.
So in the end, you spend $1000 - $2500 + all this work to get your KA-T running. And then when it messes up, you spend $3000 - $4000 to go SR and have to do more work + have the hassle of selling your previous ka-t setup to someone.
And the cycle continues.
Seriously, think about it. How many people do you know that had gone KA-T and after failing, went back to a completely stock NA KA? (In the same car)
Yea, KA-T’s fail hard!
On a side note, I love these kinds of threads. I’m glad we have a search function. The OP could have either bumped an ancient thread or created a new one - it’s a lose-lose choice.
