can someone tell me what spring i need to buyand or how to do this mod on a redtop sr20 . im trying to get it to hold 13psi firm!!!

you have no idea what the hell you’re talking about but i’ll give you a tip if you want to do some halfass boost raising shit
take two washers
take your actuator off
put the washers between teh turbo and teh actuator
bolt it back up, youll notice theres more tension on the rod
so you’ll havea bit more boost. yay.
now realize it sucks and buy a proper boost controller

but my wastegate is screwing up so thats y i wanted to try this
ur talking like im trying some cheap ass way to get like 2 psi
the mod i heard of is installing a spring somewhere that forces the gate to stay shut longer and will hold the boost firmly .
I found a site with this mod but it was on a supra and they used a spring about 7 inches long

- What boost controller do you have
- Why is your wastegate at fault here for controlling boost?
Your boost controller will limit pressure signal to the wastegate causing it
to open to whatever you set it at. So why is it the wastegate’s fault?

i dont know what wastegate or what turbo i have i was at the niagara meet and no one was able to identify it for me …100%
but it is an internal if thats what u mean
