water injection

has anyone tried it w/ their turbo setups berfore here?

afaik the setup for water injection is very tricky to install and have operate correctly.

What I have looked into and done a bit of research on is DEI’s CryO2 setup that has various points of liquid carbon dioxide flow.

if I remember correctly there’s an intake cooler, fuel rail coller, and an IC sprayer. I think they will actually be more beneficial than water injection, and a lower price. As well no Co2 actualy enters the system unlike the water so it has little to no side effects on the car (negative) and doesn’t polute like some other systems might.

people that use it stand by it, nay sayers will knock it 'til the end of time.

you should check out the grand national community, they love it, it was even incorporated into their ECUs (have errors codes for water injection system) but the system never made it to the production models.

in the meantime, http://www.turbomirage.com/water.html should get you started

there are a bunch of sites that will list the different types of fluids people inject (water, alcohol (ethonal, methanol), alcohol based windshield wiper fluid) and the amounts/ratios. just google it.

I think this is more a dsm thing, haven’t seen many nissan’s with it.

it works.

allows for better cylinder temp control.

here are the 2 better kits.
