The Audi airbag suspension system is so complicated that I figured why not upgrade rather than keep dumping money into sensors, valves, air lines, air bags, switches, compressors, etc.
I can’t wait to see how much better the 4000lb car handles now that it won’t be riding on a luxurious cushion of air.:eekdance:
are you going to save a lot of weight doing this?
popular swap for the lincolns as well

I might burn some calories on the install.:gotme:

40 lbs would only be about 1% of the cars weight but, hey you have got to start somewhere.
I might have some other mods up my sleeve.:snky:

werd
air suspension is nice, but not worth the hastle when shit goes wrong
A Lincoln with coilovers just makes me giggle.
I guess a family truckster (Allroad) with coilovers is no better.:biglaugh:
Edit: Did Lincolns have air bags on all four corners or just the rear?
Thought this thread was about safety equipment…
