Snow has been largely overestimated in the forecast thus far. Nearing mid-Dec with little measurable accumulation on the ground now? I’ll take it.

Shocking. The news overestimates a week prior that we are getting 5-10 inches. People go to their site for traffic, advertisers get paid.
Day of “storm” we get a dusting.
Rinse and repeat.
Steve caporizzle is one of the most notorious for blowing winter storms out of proportion I’ve found.

unfortunately, mostly for farther downstate but when big storms roll in he can nail the albany area forecast too
Josh fox is my go to forecaster. He kills it. Granted he’s focused more on the state of VT but that’s where I ski and that’s where I hope the snow falls lol.
