I just took a leisurely cruise up to Saranac Lake to test out the Thule carriers and relieve some stress. They’re ready to go [up to 100mph] with no problem. 
Check out whiteface’s site, they have a SHIT load of ski/stay packages at reasonable prices. I believe one was 189 p/p for a 3-day ski voucher @ WF and a 2 night stay at the Saranac Lake Inn, so not bad at all pricewise if you just shop around.

Also, there’s a winter weather advisory for Monday morning… Plattekill Mountain Hunter Mountain Stratton Mountain Resort Gore Mountain Whiteface Stowe Mountain Resort. So at least there’s something to look forward to. It’ll change over to rain later in the day but the mountain is supposed to remain all snow.
I’m down to take a trip up to WF some time this winter. Never been there to ski/snowboard.
