Great work SmallRon
Down 140.8 lbs this morning.
Shooting for 150 maybe 156.7 by end of June (June 28th to be exact) which will be the one year mark.
You must have the best metabolism ever to be able to cut that fast for all this time.
LoL, well I would argue that I have a horrible metabolism based on the first 27 years of life.
I think I have finally tuned my body to be the furnace that it should be. Just needed to get all my muscle burning calories rather than popping off 10 reps of 315 on the bench and then sitting dormant for a week.
Pair that with a complete menu overhaul and a cardo schedule which most people consider insane.
Over the course of 3 weeks of not eating right, not working out, and inactivity, with a strict diet of sleep deprivation, lo-carb monster and beef jerky I lost 11 lbs… the wrong way…
Had a rough weekend two weeks ago with graduation parties and eating out a couple times. Gained 4 pounds and it took over a week to recover.
Weighed in in today the 230’s for the first time since maybe frosh or soph year in HS. Looks like I am back on target for my end of June timeline.
What do you eat? How do you feel?
Congrats on the transformation. You’re a much better looking dude now. :nohomowellmaybejustalittle:
Feel great plenty of energy and it is nice not having to deal with everything an extremely overweight person has to deal with. Biggest example flying.
Normal weekday routine
Breakfast
1 cup of dry Honey Nut Cheerios or sometimes an instant oatmeal packet
Lunch
Subway or Potbelly’s foot long chicken breast or roast beast with cheese
Side: baked chips, low fat popcorn or something that is roughly 120 calories
Drink: Pepsi Maxx
Dinner
Lean cuisine or something similar (~300 calories) or soup some days. Replace it with a chicken breast or steak on a rare occasion.
Snack
Jolly time 94% fat free popcorn (best tasting of the bunch) or fresh fruit
Working out
20 - 30 minutes of weights and 45 - 60 minutes of cardio
Summary: 1,500 to 1,800 calories intake
It is interesting how many people now have friends that they want to hook me up with, that just never were in the conversation before :snky:
Awesome dude. Congrats. Are you hungry a lot or has your body adjusted to the caloric restriction?
Yeah it’s funny that no matter how hard Oprah tries fat is just not socially acceptable.
Once I finally broke my body out of the old routine, I was not that hungry any more. But the day after a big meal now I am straving. I think when you are that overweigh your stomach is constantly stretched that when you are not that full, you feel hungry. Kind of hard to explain.
Interesting. The symptoms match up with stuff I was just reading, though it went a little more on the sciency side. Can’t copy/paste from the Nook app so here’s the cliff notes: Basically when a person is in an overfed state their liver glycogen fills up so something has to be done with all the excess blood sugar. It gets turned into fat in the form of Palmitic Acid which is packaged with some other stuff in a little unit called a VLDL molecule. One place the VLDL molecule goes is the brain, where the Palmitic Acid blocks leptin signaling in the hypothalamus. Leptin is one of the main hormones that makes us feel full. Since this whole process starts with excess glucose in your blood, you can avoid the whole thing by avoiding excess dietary carbohydrate.
then they should just make leptin injections/supplements. bam. i should be rich. i cured obesity
You’d get bumped off by the FDA and big pharma companies long before you ever got an obesity cure to market.

Of course there already is a method for regulating with drugs your natural energy management systems that have been corrupted with by the diet the government promotes to help big agriculture that is massively promoted by the government. It’s called Type II Diabetes.
Down 150.3 pounds today, kind of stalled at 145 for a week or so, but double cardio this week cured that problem.
365 days later, 150+ lbs lost

Started running, and found an old notebook of when I started at the gym… Start weight, 276, weight today 206lbs.
huge  ron…thats a DRASTIC transformation.
Congrats man
Thanks. After a week and a half vacation of eating moose and caribou in plentiful quanitities, now it is time to get back to business.
Found out this morning I am shooting a commerical for the burnmachine at the end of the month. Time to drop another 10 pounds and get jacked.
Down 157. Commerical is less than 2 weeks away.
I have been told it is with Peter Neilsen (guy in the video above). He was a Mr. Universe/World back in the day. Now he is a fitness guru and life coach with his own tv show.
Also we picked up the bowflex 1090’s to go with the 552’s
Congrats Ron, incredible results!
I stepped on a scale back in April and was shocked and decided to start going back to the gym. I’m down 60-65ish lbs.
Side note this past weekend I hit the 1 year mark of no energy drinks/soda.
