ok i dunno how to even explain this…anyways i noticed that sometimes in the morning or after my truck has sat for awhile, when i go to start it it makes this weird, shuffling noise from the front…it almost sounds like something is touching the fan. i checked that and found nothing. then i figured it might be a bearing in one of my pulleys but the sound goes away once the truck warm up alittle and also it doesnt do it everytime its cold either. i would still think its something with a pulley but this is what throws me off…the sound changes slightly if i turn the wheel. i checked my power-steering fluid and it was low. i added some but this morning it still made the noise. any ideas or direction for me to look??? i’m totally puzzled by this.
no ideas??? u guys suck :finger: :kekegay:
i would say power steering pump, but im not sure.
something else to add to the symptoms…while the truck if moving, if i am on the brakes it wont make the nois, but if i am stopped it will make the noise regardless…wtf???
bump…help :dunno:
sounds like the powersteering to me also.
call me tomorrow
