i just got summoned for jury duty. april 17th, isn’t that kinda short notice? this could def throw a wrench in my plans to get my car back/tuned for carlisle…
You never have a shortage of excuses. 
well that week was kinda when i was planning on getting tuned… lol
the 17th is a monday tho, so if i can keep it short i should be ok. whats the best way to get out of it? just say i’m racist or somthing? haha
you can get a different date, once.
The best way is to announce that you blatantly are going to side w/ one side. Like "well my dad did something similar and I think it was BS that [insert what they want you to be objective about] "
I just told them I went to college(which I do) but never asked for any proof
You might not even get called in. The last 2 times I was summoned, I used school as an excuse the first time, and the second time, my number never came up… I didn’t even have to go downtown.

You have the option to postpone once.
Beyond that, watch the questions on the polls. If you have past experience that would make you biased in the case, they’l usually dismiss you. For example, I used Hybrid’s burglary story to get off the jury of a burglary trial…
Other than that, the whole thing isn’t that bad. Make sure you bring lots of reading material and/or a laptop, as you spend alot of time just sitting and waiting to be called.

as far as the jury duty goes, thats terrible
well i know someone that tried it and ended up on the jury.
