Went out for a car, and came back with a car.... Now with WORKING pics

Couldnt pass this up

Picked up an 04 A4 Quattro fully loaded for $4500.00
Guy has a STACK of maintenece records, and the car is spotless.

Given the move to Alaska and finding more and more houses that are between 30-50 miles, one way, to work, the Jeep’s mileage just isnt going to cover it.

04 A4 for <$5k? Sounds like a hell of a deal if it’s as clean and well maintained as it seems.

Alaska? A 100 mile daily commute? What part of Alaska?

Yeah, its spotless… a couple scratches on the hood that im going to buff out later.

Getting stationed at Elmendorf in Anchorage.

There are closer places, but its really really expensive, and kinda ghetto. I dont want to live in another apartment again, so houses are tough to come by that are close to the base.

I would be extremely jealous if your daily commute involves cruising up highway 1 from south of anchorage every day. So beautiful.

:word: there are lots of nice views off Highway 1!

Ive never been up there, but it looks as if that will be my drive. Either from Wasilla, Palmer or even Eagle River.

Im PCSing up in the end of April

I lol’d at the title. Surprised that hasn’t been done yet.

I’ll be in Nome sometime this year, can’t wait. Alaska is spectacular.

Go for Palmer or Wasilla. Those places are beautiful and the people are nice. I was up there for work a couple years ago, and it was nice. The commute wasn’t bad (stayed in anchorage, working in Palmer) but it was dark both ways so couldn’t see a whole lot.

I have a friend who’s currently stationed up there, so I can ask him for some ideas.

Good deal!

The only concern is thats the ONLY road to get me from those places to base, and if the weather is bad, thats a LOOOONG drive to be stuck in blizzard conditions

shit… i thought they posted… photobucket is blocked at work and thought they uploaded…

nice pick up.

yeah, definitely looks like a nice car

ah, good old base housing. :fuzzyfish:
