i need to get a set of new lugnuts or wheel locks.
here is a pic of my rims
the wheel locks that are in the picture are the gorilla ones. they sucked. they ended up rounding out.
after those I bought a set from pep boys. but the key kept breaking.
so does anyone know of any good brands that would hold up?
what about these mcguard ones all the way on the left? but i dont think the key would work with my rims
get the set like slomies has…on ebay for like $20, very nice set
can you see if you can find the link for me?
i got these for my wheels which are the same as yours.(Enkei RSF-2)…no problems once so ever…I had tons of issues with my McGards that cost me 100 bux…thses are 20 and again no troubles

DO NOT GO GORILLA
ahhh my roommate eric has really nice lug nuts, it comes with a special socket to take em on and off and its all the lugs for the wheel. ill try and find out the name. theyre really cool and they hold up well.
EDIT: theyre the ones that focusinprogress just posted, i really like em, if iwere you i would get those ones
I have had Spline drives from Mcgard with no problems
yea i had nothing but trouble with mine
Anybody know of locks that are good for wheels that require a thin wall socket? Will any of the ones posted work? I think Mcgards came with the wheels but they didnt fit in the hole.
go gorilla.
Yeah I had some of those for my 18’s. They’re good but you gotta be careful because I’ve heard of a lot of people breaking the socket for them, then you’re screwed.
hever seen one break but yeah u would be really fucked, and they do work for thin wall whoever asked that
:word: they rust out quick they’re cheap and will strip out your lugs
ive got rays engineering lug nuts. they cost me a good $100+ but are made out of some crazy material so that 20 lug nuts weigh as much as one chrome lug nut but are just as strong.
I never really understood wheel locks…
-
99.99999% of people leave the wheel lock key in the glove box or center console or in the trunk with the spare…If your cars in a place where they can take off all 4 wheels they can easily break window.

I have used atleast 3 diffrent wheel lock removal tools…and all work just as well as the wheel lock key…
I think its a false sense of security.
its not so much the locks…its the “tuner lugs” required for those wheels and others…regular lugs dont fit the hole
anything can be stolen by a professional theif if they want it. i think its more so to stop the crackheads who are stealing shit for rocks. and anyone stupid enough to leave the wheel lock key in the car deserves to be robbed.
where do u put ur key…what if u get a flat and u dont have ur key
mines on my keychain…it goes with me everywhere i go.
