OT: got it inspected and put on the rear wheels. Miles of room to go lower too
Went to Williams, scavenged a few Jetta/Suzuki parts. Got a new grille and shiny new emblems for the Jetta. Painted the grille, installed, color is off, trying hard not to care. Debadged the trunk, ready for the new ones tomorrow.
Put a different muff on it, and its as loud, if not louder :facepalm
Stock mufflers ftw. Then again I hate loud daily driver 4cyl cars.

it seems to depend on the mood of whoever is working the counter and what you want. Sometimes theyve let me in, other times an employee took me around the yard and other times they wouldnt let me in the yard.
They seem to want gold prices for garbage parts there.

I’ve never had an issue. I go in, say I’m going to check out whatever car for whatever part, then I go in and get it. They don’t babysit me either.

EDIT:
Rebadged my MkIII Trunk Lid. The JettaIII emblem was faded, and the VW symbol too. Got some from a parts car that were like-new.
gassed it up, washed it and went for a cruise from the McDonald’s lot to Clifton Park and then down to Scotia. Nice ride with a bunch of muscle cars.
