What did YOU wrench on today...?

That old enough to have the carbs that your yambag (no infringement on the name) resting on? Need to post pics in the sled head thread.

Replaced a rear upper control arm on my wife’s Integra last weekend, there was some tremendous wheel wobble that I discovered when putting her snows on. Hopefully nothing much more to do seeing as I don’t have a garage to work in. But we’ll see when my Prizm goes in for inspection in two weeks lol.

i replaced the DRL bulb in my Infiniti and it’s quite the pain in the ass for such a minor job.

All Data says you should drop the bumper and remove the headlights… nooooooo thanks.

Slightly easier way is to jack up the car, take off the wheel, peel back the fender liner and just squeeze yourself in there with a flashlight and re&re the bulb.

thank goodness for an actual garage and a heatlamp

Also helped my mother in law diagnose a coolant leak and ran around getting her winter tire set-up sorted out which resulted in some reorganization of my tire-stash.

Worked on the sled. Got secondary clutch set up with new spring and helix. Have to get adjustable pins and decide what spring I want to run first before I put the primary back on. Have a few different combos to try.

Last thing i worked on was trading Junction pizza for replacing rear pads on my mom’s 08 Honda CR-V.

Other recent stuff included flushing the brake fluid on my sled and changing the plugs, plus tearing the ass end of my wife’s Murano apart to track down a rattle that had been pissing me off.

Not today, but last weekend did front brakes and an oil change on the exploder

Finished putting my buddies '04 Corolla back together (Rear door got hit). But, there was a disabled K3500 in front of the garage door due to the fact the Hub/Drum ripped the mouting flange off the axle. Never seen anything like that before. Re-welded the flange back on and repaired the Hub/Drum with new bearings and races. Everything got buttoned up and is back to normal.

Also, the buffer took a shit and I rewired the chord using a 25’ extension chord that was laying around.

I haven’t been in a garage for months and it felt good to be out there for a good 10 hours. Plus, it was very productive.

MPD came over on sunday and helped me with my E30’s rear subframe.

i hope MPD moves closer to me when i buy a porsche.

Tonight will be for the finishing of my basement project, tomorrow will be more work on the Corrolla…

replaced a blown hyd line on a gillig with a cummins … also did a cummins valve adjustment (tune up) …

Valve cover gasket, Oil and diff fluid change on the Bimmer Pos before snow abuse.

Looks like a B12 stealth sled.

A '69 Mustang and a '78 TransMaroBird and an old Husqvarna dirt bike. I wasn’t exactly “wrenching” on them, I was blasting them clean. I had to use a wrench on my rotisserie to tighten the mounts. lol

I walked into the garage with the intent to work on my car… i walked around a bit and went back into the house.
