There we go, that’s some better information. Well you want $16k for your car, and he’s offering his FD as a trade plus $3800 and the fmic. So essentially you’re getting the car for $12.2k which is a steal for such a low mileage FD in that condition. And djseven is a legit guy. My only concern was the fact that the turbos smoke when it sits for a couple days. See how the compression comes back. If it’s good then this is probably the best trade you (or maybe anyone) could ever pull for a Cobalt.
ok cool sounds good to me. hes gonna send me the compression tonight, ill post it up. im really thinking about doing it. i really like the cars, you dont see many of them aroung here. but its gonna suck to tune thats the only down fall.
There are plenty of people that can tune it im not sure why you are so worried.
well ive just heard people say that many people around here didnt know how to tune them right thats all.

No they definitely are pretty rare in the area. Besides khoveraki’s and addictd2boost’s old FD, I’ve maybe seen one or two others. I’d love to pick one up some day, once I ever get the funds for one. Tuning shouldn’t be too big of a problem, just don’t neglect that.
its not a biggie… if the motor pops, LS3 swap. more power, more reliability, easy to tune. im surprised that no one went apeshit in this thread yet with “LS1 SWAP! DO IT!!! SIQQQQQQ!” etc…

Yea I’m deff thinking about taking it off of his hands. N if I don’t end up liking it I could always sell it easier then the cobalt.
he got it pressuered tested/ it came in at 120.
