do you use windows or do you have another program?

O & O

can be found on the 'noid

sweet. ill have to try this one out cause im sick of windows’ defragmenter.

perfectdisk

I just use windows built in joint.

with vista, it automatically does it  so no more scheduling and that kind of BS

I never defrag :wtf:

NTFS Filesystems do no require defragmenting, idiots. That is a FAT thing.

thats not 100% true… ‘they’ say it doesn’t fragment, but it does. (just not as much as a FAT system)

tune up utilities, has a lot of other nice features as well

diskeeper

my computer sucks at life, but i use windows defrager

jkdefrag. its the best yo.

lol…windows :stuck_out_tongue:

windows live one care

I use perfectdisk. Got it from a torrent, its not worth buying defrag software.

TuneUp Utilites 2008

i just use the basic windows, works perfect for me.

:asshat:

Bump.

Have a server with 17% free space on a 500GB RAID mirroring drive. Over 600,000 files and here is how bad it is…

Was able to get a 12 hour outage window and it was only 3% complete. Suggestions for tools or ideas? Only thing I am thinking is to move as many of the files as I can to a USB drive and then run it and then recopy them and try it again.

I use Auslogics Disk Defrag. NTFS does need to be defragged, just not as much as a FAT partition.
