When it comes to waxes you will hear 100s of different answers. Theres nothing wrong with the OTC Mothers and Meguiars. I use more high end products for there ease of use and the fact that they dont stain trim so i dont have to tap off all my trim and molding pieces when i just wax my cars.

Quik if you allready buffed with a light polishing pad using meguiars 3 step is just wasting your time. The idea behind those polishes is to be used by hand with out a buffer. Its actually just a chemical cleaner that can remove some oxidation. Theres really no correction from the 3step process. With what you said I would just wash,clay, polish and wax you are going to achieve the same results with out the 3step.

ive seen a difference in doing it the way i mentioned and just doing wash/clay wax
