what to use to wax my car

ok so i wanna do this myself, but i dont know where to get a decent product. i have a 2005 civic white, if it matters and i wanna get it all nice and new looking b4 my trip to florida. What do you guys think i should use and where to get it? thank you in advance for your answers

go to a body shop for the best …

meguiers works very well

im looking to do it myself, its not a show car just a DD. i dont expect to have it look like it did the day it was bought just a lil bit better than it is now

and where can it be bought?

coilinite no.845 i love it, its VERY durable and will last a long time. i use it on every vehicle i detail. leaves a very deep shine, real easy to work with as well.

u can get it at advanced auto IIRC for around 12 bucks or so, a little goes a long way with this stuff

dupont just came out with an awesome product i plan on using this.

autozone, walmart bascially anywhere that has wax

also the dupont mentioned above works awsome to
we have it at work but i dont know where u can get it

yo 35 bucks, ill wash, clay and wax your car with some meguiars the good 20 dollar a bottle stuff

thats ok man. i wanna do it myself, i just didnt know where to get a good wax.

best bet… clay bar… i know its been said 1000 times on here… but for a white car, that is key cause you can get all the small specs of road grime, tar and fall out contaminates…

after you clay it really good… the best wax is to go with a paste carnuba wax, i suggest meguiars cause its the closest thing to professional grade that we used in the detail shop

if you get the meguiars gold class carnuba paste wax, its easy on, and EASY off, no residue, and no hard wiping to remove.

I just cleaned my car over the past week, also white. Mostly maguires stuff.

-maguires super foam wash stuff in the pink bottle.
-Sheepskin mit, double bucket
-clay magic blue, omfg the brown spots my paint collected from the winter, one kit did the whole car including glass
-then maguires cleaner wax
-then maguires nxt 2.0, try it, very good wax
-finish with maguires UQD
-24 microfibre towels from target
-magiures nxt insane wheel aerosol, or the maguires hot wheels aerosol, doesn’t fling off, fuck all else seriously
-caslte aerosol glass cleaner

Meguiars is very good, I also have a Mothers paste carunda wax and it does a very nice job as well.

adams polishes, look them up, they selll everything you need to detail every part of your car. gotta order it they dont sell it in stores but it is so worth it.

x2…I love that stuff

Next on my list to try then…

Go to Advance, get INSULATOR WAX. Greatest stuff known to man, psphinx told me about it i waxed my car twice last summer it still beads up and shines like i just did it yesterday even after all the winter weather and rain we’ve had. I’m sold on it

I LOVE this stuff as well:) Been using it for 10+years now. Harbor Freight carries it to my suprise…

I’ve found that having a damp applicator pad helps in appying the wax. Also, do your best to get the wax on the whole surface of the pad for a more even application onto the paint. If you can, remove with an orbital buffer…otherwise hand will do, it’s just not as fast.

zaino is good stuff to
