Invisible Glass by Stoner > *

Wash: Meguirs(sp) Gold Class Wash (sams club)
Glass: Invisible Glass
Clay: Clay Magic Blue Bar
Tires: Black Magic Tire Wet
Leather: Lexol

I’m going to look into polish’s soon to detail the Cobra over the winter.

if this is going to be a sticky, can the only word in the title be spelled correctly?

I’m a big fan of Car Brite products. It’s been a while sine I’ve used them but when I was running a business I was using there stuff. Here’s what I remember:

*Diluted “White Lightning” is amazing on wheels
*Diluted “Purple Stuff” is a great cleaner/degreaser
*“Cherry Bomb” soap
*Clay bar for general cleaning of paint before buffing
*Buffing compounds the “Workout” line and “Crystal Shine” did well, I also liked 3M stuff. I’m sure there’s better out there as these aren’t terribly expensive, but I learned how to work with these and you’d never know the difference.
*A rag soaked in paint thinner works great for stains in fabric, as well as removing road tar and grime.
*An air hose, pressure washer, and a strong vacuum are essentials in my mind.
*I’m a fan of marine wax, can’t remember who makes this but it can be found locally at auto parts stores, Harbor Freight, etc.

These are just random thoughts above…I should get back to work so that’s it for now.

+1 for sticky and in for responses

I don’t know why everyone ignored the hilarity of this response…

Washing: Depends on the day. Any good car wash soap is fine.
Wax: I really like p21s if i am going for looks over durability. For durability use a synthetic with a good wax over the top
Polish: Haven’t done this in a while, but i loved the poorboys, meguairs dacp, and menzerna products
Glaze: bah just oil it up with peanut butter. Glaze is only if you aren’t going to wax it and have it in a car show imho. I could ramble on the topic of glaze for ever, but I use #7
Carpets: Warm water, minimal amount of woolite or a good APC heavily diluted. Products for this vary based on the dirtiness and the type of stains.
Glass: Stoner invisible glass hands down
Leather: Lexol
Rims: A2Z cleaner and wax with colinite
Tires: clean with A2Z, protect with 303 Aerospace
Clay bar: clay magic blue
Other: I will fill this in later.

Washing: Menzerna Auto Shampoo
Wax: Wolfgang’s Paint Sealant (on my silver G35) Zaino (on Wifey’s black 4runner)
Polish: Poorboys SSR-1 (G35) - Zaino Z2 (4runner)
Glaze: Clear Kote Vanilla Moose Glaze (G35)
Carpets: Bissell Little Green Steam Machine to spot clean
Glass: Stoner on the outside/ Windex Vinegar on the inside (tint safe)
Leather: Lexol cleaner and conditioner
Rims: just wash soap in an extra bucket and different sponge only for wheels
Tires: Eagle One Tire Dressing
Clay bar: Meguiars

Isn’t their a wax for black paint that fills in scratches and whatnot?

No its bullshit… You have to compound/buff/ and sometimes wetsand to REALLY scratches out…

Honestly i love Maquires for everything exterior related/ and lexol for leather

Washing: maguires gold class, sheepskin mit

Wax: maguires nxt 2.0 or that collonite stuff

spray detailer: eagle one nano spray or maguires UQD

Glass: castle aerosol or stoner invisible glass aerosol (or UQD)

Rims: car wash

Tires: hot shine aorosol with adjustable nozzle

Clay bar: clay magic blue

Other: absorber cloth and a leaf blower for drying. MF towels and MF wax applicators for waxing, spray detailers and glass

 thats sounds like alot of work

It’s actually quick as hell to use the leaf blower for the wheels and crevices after the absorber.

Washing: blue coral
Wax: colinite 845, p21s… both work amazing
Polish: menzerna super intensive polish, followed by menzerna PO85rd
Glaze: no point in glazing, it does nothing
Carpets: any decent APC dilluted
Glass: i recently tried stoner invisible and liked it a lot
Leather: Lexol hands down
Rims: meguiars wheel cleaner
Tires: meguiars tire shine
Clay bar: blue claymagic

how bout add engine bay to the categories.

X2!!! this is the ultimate list deff exactally everthing my car team uses 4 every show

i like the eagle one nanowax. really brings out the color of my car…and really reminds me of how bad it needs to be buffed
