What does a $150,000 house look like in your neighborhood?

it was listed for more than 150k, we made a lower offer

picking up the audi this weekend jenn  there will be 2 audis in the garage, dnno if the bigger one will fit though :0

Just make the commute to OC – Your taxes and all the other crap will be ALOT cheaper in Salisbury… My parents used to own a house behind the university it wasn’t too bad

yes…

it was listed for 188,000…

I live in north braddock…black neighborhood…nobodies house costs that much…except for first ward…but my house is bigger than all of theirs…go figure…paid 10 grand for it back in…91? and insurance guy said this house would cost 500,000 to rebuild from the ground up if it caught on fire…sounds like we lucked out for 10grand huh. With the house value around here…150k might get you 3 houses lol

That house would probably cost at least $500K in the San Francisco area…which makes me even happier to not live in the Northeast or West Coast…My sister owns an apartment in Manhattan (Upper West Side) which is only around 1200 sq ft and would probably sell for over $1M.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahaha…

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahaha.

$150,000 house!?! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahah. Thanks, I needed a good laugh this morning.

salaries out there are pretty good at figuring in the cost of living. Not here though. No one makes over $10/hr. If you’re a tipped employee, you can do really good in the summer, but you’re probably fucked for the other 7 months out of the year.

Salaries are better out here, but not in proportion to the cost of housing. The job and money I make I could buy something pretty nice out there. Here, I’m light-years away from even buying a dump like that. Housing is 4-5 times more expensive and salaries are double AT BEST. For ppl w/ just a high-school education it’s really tough to get past $15/hr, $10 is usually tops just like there. Obviously a degree is going to get your further than that if it’s in a good field.

california sucks

Lies.

There’s a reason we pay what we do. It’s a little cold this week, but still clear and nice. I was driving the Z06 around w/ the windows down yesterday. :jerkit:

z06 you should be worried about buying a house if that dump is the only thing you can afford out here

owned

Correct me if I’m worng but you also have to pay for other services that would usually be included like waste disposal (what you can’t burn) and so forth.
