Oh… I would love to have a pressure cooker. It makes the best pot roast, KFC does in fact make their fried chicken in them. Rice can be made in there. There are endless possibilities. Oh I can only imagine how good corned beef would be from that thing :drool:

They cook stews and braise shit in pressure cookers on Iron Chef, where there’s very limited time.
it’s for preserving food in jars… such as tomatoes… or beans… or corn… or anything. Food that has been prepared this way has a MUCH longer shelf life.

I know… If you ever have the potroast at a place like ihop or dennys or even applebees that is how it is cooked before being shipped off to the chain in portion bags. I love it for some reason. I would love to stuff a strip loin in one of those and voila super tender potroast!

Hah. I was actually talking about pressure cookers with a friend at work not too long ago. But ya like someone said. Its a high speed slow cooker. You can cook stews pork, beef, what have you. its actually pretty damn cool because it doesnt dry out the meat and it basically forces the flavor through the meat fibers = good shit. If it wasnt a fagor Id buy one lol.
