What if a personal friend of yours has a connection with a NASCAR team owner and mentions your name while watching a race from their pits. The team owner tells your friend “Let’s get together, talk and possibly put them in a car to see if they have what it takes.”
It’s not Sprint Cup, but the class right below, Nationwide.
Would you go and see if you have what it takes? If you truly believed you could do it, would you even consider quitting your job to pursue a career in the spot light, becoming a full time driver?
It would involve travel, hard work, dedication and finding sponsors to keep you in a car. Would you go meet with the owner, knowing how hard it is to make it?
You’d be dumb to leave your job. I’ll tell you right now. you don’t have what it takes.
You aren’t a good driver at all compared to the million other prospects out there in the world, that have racing experience, and lots of time on the track.
That depends, is it a team like Hendrick where you actually have a competitive car and a chance to win big, or some broke dick team that runs 5 laps and your shit blows up?
