That my friend is a good first car for ya. PIMP
PM me if interested
Mike, eesti, has one of these, and from all he’s told me about it, it sounds like quite an impressive platform, stock.
On topic: Thread starter, feel free to add more than the, “Tell me what car to buy,” and then maybe you’ll get some better responses.
just buy a 1st gen Saturn. They are reliable.Great gas milage. You can save up the money and run low 12s when you buy a supercharging kit and built motor. It will cost under 4k for sc and built motor.
Links to Saturns that run low 12s for 4k in parts??
Yeah i just picked one up a couple days ago… It rides awesome. I love it
But why not sell it and upgrade to a newer model
ONly thing i hate is that i get like 17 MPG
btw heres mine just incase “little dude” wants it

Thats mikes website. Not much needed top end because he used a stock head pretty much.Just get the rods pistons and Supercharger and you should be around 4k after all the bullshit.Nice little car if you ask me for this newb.
Ohh and then you get 22" wheels and get booty all day :-):headbang:
hahhahahahaaa
I think being young, naive, and car poor is something most of us went through. Give the kid some slack, it’s not like he’s going to listen to the advice anyways.
Honda civics are nice. You should look into those
Good on gas and easy/cheap to maintain
BTW, i have a 98 honda civic for sale
Pm me for more info 8=-)
my first car was a honda civic, but it wasnt your average ef. i wouldnt recommend trying to rock 18’s on your civic hatch, it just wont work.

Ahhhh the memories…
2005 GSXR 1000… . /thread
Worst I’ve ever seen on my car was 17.5 with two bad coil packs. Typical is 19 avg, 26 highway. I love that car, 50/50 weight distribution, double wishbone front/rear huge sways. I think the 6cyl got safest car award for MY2000 also. That really would be a good first car…
P.S. Mine comes with snow tires/wheels
get a first gen dsm dirt cheap and soooo much potential, leave it stock enjoy the factory 190hp, or for a few bucks easily get over 250 and be in the 12s, you can not get a better bang for your buck.
***But be warned if you modify a dsm, and you are not a mechanic, you will have to become one fast!
lol… DSM. that’s a GREAT suggestion…
werd… this would be a great first car. fairly inexpensive, not too bad as far as maintenance goes and reliable. Plus it’s probably going to be the nicest looking/most well equipped car you can get in that price range (for price vs age vs bling)
Not sure if they’re very modable with the 3.9, but who would mod a Lincoln anyway? :snky:
