i thinkits the platform that allows you a view of the river, but its been forever since ive been to artpark
isn’t it just for observation?

Yeah. I guess it’s a long closed observation platform that was built on the towers from the second queenston-lewiston suspension bridge.
Cooler picture:

I really want to climb that thing.

“Omega”, 1981 steel, ArtPark, Lewiston, New York, commissioned by Natural Heritage Trust/ Parks Department, Throop and Feiden Engineering/Landscape Architects, permanent installation
30’ x 110’ x 40’
Public art piece built on historically preserved John Roebling bridge columns, cantilevered viewing platform over the Niagara River, overhead mirrors reflect the river below - underneath are reflected images of the sky
I remember being on that as a child. From what I recall, it wasn’t quite level, and scared the shit out of me.
edit: yep, definitely crooked. lol
That thing looks scary as shit
Someone jump that fence and take pics from up there please. K thanks.
there were mirrors below it? Artpark upskirts FTW!
I think it was supposed to be for this but they ran out of funding

first pic Maveric posted, the mirror that reflects the sky can be seem hanging off the end of the structure, its angled so no upskirt goodness from it
I’m not surprised that it is closed
