I’ve had the misfortune of running into a few cops that were on a power trip sure. But to discredit all of law enforcement is laughable.

drove to rochester taking back roads there, and thruway back yesterday.
surprisingly, didnt see one cop till the VERY end, and he was on the other side of the thruway anyways.
lucky too, if he was posted about a mile earlier, he prolly wouldve wanted to cross that barrier

Laws don’t have to be broken to be in the situation of their word against yours to generate revenue. i got pulled over 13 times two summers ago, 6x of which were waiting at a red light. Dat dare dirt bike don’t look legal to me… lemmie check your paperwork. Why’d you put your street bike plate on your dirt bike boy? Ain’t got no tread on your tires boy… lemme check your paperwork. Every ignorant redneck cop wanted to check my paperwork b/c i wasn’t riding a Harley. Filed for my Veteran’s tag, and have only been pulled over once since I got it b/c i stood up b/c my pants were all bunched up my legs and was accused of “doing tricks”, my uncle’s a retired police commissioner and he’ll be the first one to tell you the same thing. cops are being forced into increased “minimum requirements” b/c quota’s after all are illegal. duties moved from serving and protecting to generating lost revenue sadly.
Well I did about 400 miles on my bike Saturday from Syracuse to Rochester to Buffalo and back. Took the back roads to Buffalo and the 90 back to Syracuse. Saw plenty of cops but most of them had someone pulled over when I passed. However, coming back on the 90, went right by a trooper doing 82 and being PASSED by another car. Trooper didn’t budge knocks on wood
yea i think i’m boycotting the S&R for the rest of the year, they had a roadblock setup on genesee just before you hit transit and were pulling over every honda…yea…only hondas
checking VIN’s on engines and such…they kept me there for a good 30 mins for no reason at all…my car is legal as they come(cept no front plate) but anyway i think its stupid that they take a semi-decent event and turn it into profit
