Looks really good
I feel your pain about boring 3spd auto street/strip setups.A small drive to NYI would have my head buzzing from the engine/road noise.

PS. See? You (oroc) made the right decision to keep her
well i bought a wrecked 2001 camaro from virginia which i stripped everythign out of, so unless the guy b4 me has swapped out the 01 motor for a 98 motor without me knowing i dont no. motor has 10k original miles, plastic gas tank, what else is a sign of an 01? i thought the 98 motors had the rounder style valve cover with the 2 or 3 lines going down the middle?
thanks for the compliments ya’ll
MIke
awesome man  I knew you were up something real cool
It will be nice seeing a LS1 swapped third gen in the area. looks great
wow - that looks really sharp. I thought the interior pic was the interior in the '01 - then I saw the strobe badge.
clean. very nice job!
yeahh i think your right about the valve covers…and dident the 98 motors in the transmarobirs and the camaro have the ls1 intake mani as where the 01 def had the ls6?
for some reason thats in my head
yes the 01-02’s had the LS6 manifold, but i dont no how to tell the difference, both look the same and are black lol… Anybody have the scoop on the valve covers i’m curious about my motor now? Or are there any numbers i can run to check stuff out? That would be pretty gay if i bought a 01 Camaro and ended up with a 98 motor.? No biggy either way tho, i got a low milage ls1 thats all i care about… Any info would be great…
Mike
wow…the first 3rd gen I can say looks good
This is a pic of a 99 ls1 motor, the valve cover is rounded with the lines, is this what u were thinking of bill ? the 01-02’s were the flat slyle like mine correct?
Thanks 2turboz
No problem man…that interior swap is amazing and since u did it all yourself you get double props
 you know my feelings , KEEP THE HOOD AND GET SOME BLING WHEELS
I’ve always been a big fan of using the more current drivetrain in the older chassis.
