So I opened this wall up.

Going to use this wasted space for built in shelving. In the process I felt a draft. I went searching and found some gaps between 2x4s and brick
…then as the light moved I found this.

At first I thought a face hugger was going to jump out, then realized its a wasp nest. Its all mud.

Im thinking its still active right…There probably in there trying to stay warm. Its not like they buzz south for the winter.

How should I remove this:
1)call some trained pro
2)paint ball gun
3)my saw
4)drill a hole in the top and pour bleach inside

What do you think

lol… nice

Try a shotgun see what happens

Wait… you think you have a live wasps nest the size of an infant in you house and youre posting on nyspeed???

i have $5 towards the fund for you to stick your hand in there and rip it out…while video taping it.

Wow, that’s a monster nest. +1 for calling a pro. Not worth the risk IMO.

option 4 would probably work pretty well…

we use gas when we find them in the ground… I wouldn’t pour gas onto your house though lol

you could try dropping the temp in house quite a bit… and then start tearing it open with can of raid.

Looks like you have a leaky roof.

wow that is fucking wicked

Buy a new house?

brake cleaner? poke a small hole in it and start spraying

yes filling his small enclosed attic with something highly flammable sounds like a super idea…

Pro.

Yea the roof was replaced 4 yrs ago.
That whole area is the same temp as outside so…currently its freezing in there. I gotta do something b4 it gets warmer outside.

What if I cut a hole for them to escape but greet them with a few electric fly swatters

sometimes I look at it and see a body laying down…maybe its a frign mummy

1.) fire
2.) use an air bellow to get temperature excess of 1400°F
3.) Slowly reduce the temperature to temper
4.) Scrape bees from nest
5.) Remove your new pottery
6.) Profit.

 now is a good time for you to get rid of them yourself and save some money.

they are proly all dead. throw a basbeall at it, if they all fly out and take over ur house then u know its still active

At first I was like, “You opened up your wall and found a dude trapped in there?!”

I’d probably lightly tap on the nest with a long stick and see if there is a reaction. If it starts buzzing like crazy call in a pro. Have a couple cans of that wasp/hornet spray ready. If it seems dormant after the tapping knock a hole in it. Spray it with the killer, wait a bit, repeat hole/spray routine.

I’m crazy like that I guess. Leave yourself an escape plan and make sure no one else is in the house when you’re doing this.
