I’m having a bit of a problem, my car needs work, but I’m getting bored of it. I was thinking about rebuilding the CA over the winter, but I was also thinking of going with an SR. The problem is I don’t know if I want to spend the extra money on something that I’m probably going to get rid of in the next year. I need to do a couple things to the car before I sell it or I was thinking of selling it as is at a loss. I’m not too sure, I was thinking of selling it for like $6000 as is, but it needs a clutch and suspension. Or if I fix it then ask $7500. I’m not too sure what I should do, any opinions or ideas?
Stay with the CA and rebuild it over then winter. Fix it up and then sell it in the spring. It will be a good learning experiance. It’s not too hard…
Same boat as me…wondering to sell or not to sell…sell if you want to move on…new projects are always fun.
like rage_rman said. fix it and sell it. Nobody wants to buy a car that needs repairs
same boat as me, want to sell but dont
I don’t need to rebuild the engine, I was just going to over the winter because I go for my 2nd year mechanics in January, and we get to rebuild engines. I know that I’m going to have to sink about $1500-$2000 probably into this car for all the things that are wrong with it. Then I would want about $8000 for it but I don’t think it would be worth that much. Especially not after seeing some very nice cars going through the marketplace for around the same price.
fix it, sell it, save for an R35 :E . I’m going to fix up the rest of my s14 and sell it next spring or summer … .

lol yeah but when I have busted ass battleship rims, and scratched bumper and junk it can all take away from the overall price. I guess I could get some decent rims because my fenders are already rolled so I could do the crazy flush look. I’m not too sure, I guess I have all winter to figure this out. Then when I part with the 180 I’ll probably be talking to Allen about a GTR or Soarer.
what year is the 240sx i might be interested in buying
Buy an Audi S4

Its a 1990 180sx not a 240. I’m not sure if I want to sell yet but who knows it may end up in the marketplace soon.
