when you guys edit videos?
Windows movie maker FTW… Ha…
Premiere & After effects if your getting serious. Actually, if you can get your hands on a copy of Adobe Production Studio you will have everything you should ever need.
Yeah i went ahead and downloaded the windows one. . .free is nice. . .and it’s working well for me.
Hopefully I’ll have something posted by tonight. . .anyone wanna send me some of their own vids?
Adobe premiere Pro 2, adobe after effects, adobe illustrator, adobe photoshop, Sonic reel dvd for DVD authoring, 3d studios max R2 for 3d projects, cleaner 5.1 for compressing videos for DVD!
these programs streamline together VERY good and are VERY powerful programs for the PC and MAC systems!
lol ^^^ i wish i could even use have of that… i cant even figure out how to repaint my car or change the rims on adobe photoshop CS2 haha. windows movie makerw works for me.
In my film production program last year we used Final Cut Pro for Mac…and Adobe Premier Pro for windows.
We learned to use:
Ulead Studio Plus 10 and Pinnacle Studio 10
All work well, but Adobe Premier Pro was my fav, and it’s somewhat easy to pick up…whe you get into transitions it can be a little difficult mind you.
transitions difficult? where you in the easy editing class? hahaha try doing all the color correction and sound stuff that premiere pro has to offer transitions is the simplest thing of premiere! now after effects is the worst when you are trying to program expresions for effects (an easier version of javascript) but these programs are all very easy once you learn on really good you will know them all…lots of it is drag and drop editing for simple stuff the rest is all done by numbers and just knowing what does what!
ive filmed and edited several skateboard movies in the past few years. always use final cut pro 2 for mac. works awesome!
yeah i find that macs kick ass for video editing. . . their only knack :anal
ya i love using them for editing. G4!
Mac all the way forsure…best editing system! PC for porn

…easy tiger…Im simply saying to someone who is completely new to premier, and who is going at it solo…the transitions will be something they will want to do that will be difficult.
This isnt a battle of the nerdy editing titans here, you want to be the uber editor, the titles yours! I havent the patience for half of what most video editing programs offer.
no battle being brought haha i was just saying to…that i would much rather use transitions and shit cuz it was easier to learn then everything else was! but i guess people learn different too
