For those who are running a premium synthetic, how much are you paying or how much would you pay? ie:Redline or other

I pay $20 for 5 quarts at Wal-Mart, and thats fully synthetic

royal purple 10w40 for street, but if i know im gonna be goin tot he track i run royal purple 20w50
Too much, I believe it was like $8.75 a qt from Summit, although I used it for 6,000 miles though which is pretty decent.
EDIT: For anyone that is oil ignorant yes you can use certain oil’s like Redline and German castrol for much longer change intervals.
20w50 in everything that has a piston.

Did anyone read the writeups all over the net about royal purple.
Supposidly its over priced garbage, thats actuially worse then common syn oils.
Just something I remember reading, something about it gunking up the engine Rappidly.
