What weight oil do you use?

I’m doing a little marketing research here. I’m wondering what the most popular oil viscosities are. If you’d care to share what your favorite brand is, that would be helpful too.

I pay $20 for 5 quarts at Wal-Mart, and thats fully synthetic

royal purple 10w40 for street, but if i know im gonna be goin tot he track i run royal purple 20w50

Most recent oil was Redline 10w30.

Remember about how much you paid for either the Royal Purple or Redline?

Too much, I believe it was like $8.75 a qt from Summit, although I used it for 6,000 miles though which is pretty decent.

EDIT: For anyone that is oil ignorant yes you can use certain oil’s like Redline and German castrol for much longer change intervals.

20w50 in everything that has a piston.

I always run 20w50 in everything.

Did anyone read the writeups all over the net about royal purple.
Supposidly its over priced garbage, thats actuially worse then common syn oils.

Just something I remember reading, something about it gunking up the engine Rappidly.
