what kind of oil do you use and how many miles do you go before changing?
i heard moble 1 was good but for newer cars becouse it is thinner is that true
i have been running royal purple 5w30 for a bout 12k
my first use i ran it about 5300 miles before i did it.
second time i ran it about 4500 miles on it. when i did this change the oil still looked purple and clean
when i ranned 5w30 syn. valvoline the trucks indicator would come on around 3800 miles
both times that i ran the royal purple it didnt come on. and this indicator some how moniters
the way the oil is broken down. { in the manual it says under the right sircumstances you can
go a full year without changing oil if driven properly, but GM doesnt recomend this. for those
that dont believe me look it up in the manuals.]
run mobil one and change it every 3K 
i use 10w30 in the summer and 5w30 in the winter. thats it. i use to run AMZOIL that shit is awesome. i saw some articles of truckers not changing oil for like 40000 miles and it still passing the test that they have for oil quality
i run 10w30 mobile 1 in the camaro and go 3500 miles between oil changes
the beater gets penzoil 10w30 every 3000 miles
it has 200,000 miles on the motor and still going
I run Motorcraft or Mobile 1 10w 30 and change @ 2000 miles
or once a month.

5w30 castrol GTX synthetic every 4k miles. I’m thinking of using royal purple. How much does that cost per case?
Valvoline SynPower Full synthetic every 4-5K miles

mobil 1 every 5-6 k. No need to change it any sooner than that.
snow- you know ron changes his oil every 25k with mobil 1.

i know but im confused
hell with it. dont change the oil, in fact take 4 quarts out. VR6 motor swap would be justified then for sure.
