$5k would easily get you to and from Europe. Then just hitchhike around.

the bicycle idea is good, if you already have a worthy bike otherwise your 5k wont get you far. my buddy rode from tip of long island to san fran i believe…was expensive

Backpack through Europe.
3000miles roughly (idk what it really is) divided by 10hrs a day x 15mph = 20 days…i think it actually took 26 and there were a couple days of just rest…knees were toast.
One of my sister-in-law’s ex-boyfriends said he was going to backpack from Cairo to Cape Town after he graduated. I didn’t bother explaining to him why that was a stupid idea. Thank God she broke up with that idiot.

I was considering Europe but I dont think I would want to do that solo. I like what LAFENGAS did.
Maybe I should break it up a bit and enlarge my budget. If I went by bike it would be cheap because I have no problem with sleeping in tents. I would just need food and occasional motel room. If I go by car it would need to be a shorter trip. Australia always looked fun but isn’t it mostly desert?
