well its ordered and not installed but a new intercooler to throttle body coupler… seems as if ive had a 12-15psi boost leak…from a torn coupler there. :headbang SPT coupler ordered from capitaland subaru via fred in parts yesterday… YAY…

seth made me aware that the coupler that tore was poor when the car was there being tuned (oil soaked and stretched). it was NOT sealing properly for him and kept blowing off the throttle body on him under “high” boost. this was “fixed” or so i thought with the use of a t-bolt clamp i got from drew (boostin). unfortunately the coupler has COMPLETELY torn in half so its like driving an N/A subaru right now until tomorrow when i pick up the new coupler. im not going to say it would have made more, or made less had there been a different coupler because its a moot point, and honestly i don’t care.

dont be dumb paul, youre gonna hate FWD with any amount of power over stock, beleive me, im so sick of burning out. id love to benefit from weight transfer. id prefer RWD for my next platform, but i might do AWD again… 5.0 lx notch is what ive been lusting for many many years, hopefully within the next year or so i can dump my gti off on someone else and pick up a clean notch, or a DSM project
