Running 12’s and getting 30 mpg sounds so tempting though compared to running high 13’s and 16 mpg on a car that I have no idea how its going to run each time I turn the key.
Id really like to dump the Mustang but Ive got so much money into the slow turd that I couldnt get half of what Ive got into it if I sold it.
Installed my smoked Lamin-x on the headlights last night.
I don’t like it. $30 down the drain. Awesome.
ya dont look that good to be honest
I know :idiots
plus it makes my headlights really dim…
only 17% light reduction my balls.
I dont have the heart to take em off yet though. I’m and idiot.
LOL damn son
idk, they don’t look TOO bad, i’d say keep them on :nod
Shouldve put that $30 towards getting the hood painted.
It’s carbon fiber. :confused
the F40 was carbon fiber, and they painted it just fine… the NSX has carbon fiber hood and trunk but u cant tell with the paint (i think its jsut type r’s)
so? carbon fiber looks sweet unpainted
Paint it anyway.
I think leaving it black looks as bad as having mismatched junkyard parts on it (something Im guilty of with two trucks Ive had).
If its because its lighter, paint it. If its for looks its ricer shit.
True, but what about the weight of the paint!? Heheh ;D
if you are worried about a few ounces, reconsider eating fast food.
Car has a new head. Courtesy of the timing belt snapping. Only stereotype that hasn’t happened to me yet is crankwalk, knock on wood.
try what’s new off my car
Nothing yet but Ive got a new catback and new gears that are getting put in next week.
New on my car? Aside from the (once shiny) wheels covered in massive amounts of brake dust, and random dirt/bird shit all over the paint… :lol
I made my own “Stage 2” kit. Pretty much bought my own 3" supercharger pulley/hub from www.smoothflowpulleys.com ($100), GM 42 lb/hr. injectors from cobaltss.net ($100), and tuned with HP tuners ($100 for credits). Cost me about 300 bucks, including the 100 bucks it cost in credits to unlock my car with HP Tuners. I can also re-tune the car if I ever decide to change the setup. My tune is also different from GM’s… theirs looks like a money on drugs made up the fueling tables. Pretty much took that and smoothed it all out and made a few other minor changes. Cheapest I can find the GM stage kit is 550 (for the same shit), plus probably around 500 for dealer install. F-That. :confused
Car pulls much harder now, and is boosting 15psi. It’s actually kind of fun to drive now. :crackup For a daily driver its perfect for me. Comfortable, low 30’s MPG on highway (mid 20’s in city), and decently quick. Will be throwing snow tires on it for winter fun. Good stuff. :banana
I’m curious at to how yellow would look. :ponder
