My stock wheel size is 205-55-16 on my Legacy. The hydroedge tires on it are not the best for snow and ice as I found out today.
I have a set of 225-65-16 Blizzaks and I would like to run them.
So here is my question… is this really a bad idea
It equals to exactly 10.6% to slow meaning that when I am going 110 on the speedo i am driving at 120.
First off it’ll rub on the front shocks. The part of the shock that goes over the tire (where the spring seats) will rub all the time. Then they will rub on the fenders everytime you hit a bump. That’s to much of a difference. Way to much.
do it. if your getting better traction who cares if your speedo is off. your wheels might rub on the frame when you turn your wheel really far. the wheels on my ranger are a little oversized i think.
I would say, mount 1 and test fit it… It should be fine but I have no experience with subies… if it dosen’t fit your out what $30 for mount/balance X2…
