Wheel spacers

Ok, I have read up some on the topic and still nothing. R wheel spacers safe??? I realize what putting these on entails. I just don’t know if it would comprimise the safety.

p.s. if I get my s13 I want these on them http://www.konigwheels.com/catalog_product_details.cfm?CategoryID=1&ss_id=362, on;y problem is a +40 offset.

Any and all input is welcome.

spacers can be safe and can be unsafe.

if you have proper extended wheel studs to allow for equal thread engagement as stock studs without spacers and you have a hub centric lip on the spacer then there is no reason why they shouldnt be fine.

if you try something like the Touge factory spacers, like i did, with the grade 5 home depot bolts they supplied and no hub centricity then you will probably die, like i almost did.

H&R hubcentric bolt on spacers are the best imo.
Well, the best would be to get a wheel with proper offset.

DON’T CHEAP OUT…when you buy your spacers. I have cheap 8-9mm ish spacers and I wouldn’t suggest them to anyone. Your best option is to buy rims in a good offset right from the start.
