AE86 wheels…
Do you plan to lower at all? You will rub and at that offset they will stick out far. Rolling fenders will not help.
When I lowerd 2 inches, under hard cornering I was rubing those inner fender liners on front and had to remove them. That was with stock wheels, so if you have wheels sticking out of fenders and you lower 2 inches, you will rub.
Andrew.
Yes, I plan to lower.
^See my above edited post^
Nobody runs fender liners with big rims.
I had to take mine out with stock rims cause my car was so low…
17x7 +45 w/20mm spacer 225/45/17
17x7 +42 225/45/17, yes it is ricer offset, but I did not know about all that stuff 1 year ago…
Andrew thats not what I said. If you rub fender liners lowered with stock rims, what do you think will happen when your wheels are sticking out behond the fender. You will rub tires against fender under hard cornering.
NeverR:
That black s13 is going to rub under hard cornering. If you don’t mind rubbing the hell out of your tires, by all means. I was just pointing it out to you. I have seen 15x7 0 offset wheels on a 240 and they had to role fenders so they wouldn’t rub. As well as readajusting coilovers to bring the car up a touch compared to the way they had it lowered before.
So whats going to happen with 7.5 inch wide rim and -5 offset?
Andrew.
18x9 +22 effective offset
18x10 +29 effective offset
235/40/18 FM901 on the front and 265/35/18 FM901 on the rear
Greggy boy your car is gonna be loose as a goose with that setup at speeds under 80km/h - thats assuming you have a big dutty wing on the back… maybe 245s front? Possible?
If the black car has stiff enough coilovers it won’t rub.
It looks like the fenders need to be pulled a little more, to keep it from
rubbing though…
Either way, low and flush = sexy.
I agree, low and flush = sexy
Sometimes one needs to be realistic though. And yes if you have a metal pole for suspension you won’t rub, any suspension will compress under hard cornering.
Andrew.
But depending on springrate it will compress more or less. I am sure your
lowering springs were not as stiff as 9/7 coilovers.
I think a little more pull could solve his problems, thats all I’m saying.
yeah I agree with you Andrew. On that black s13 pull will solve the problem. However, NeveR’s will take just a little more then a pull at 7.5 width and -5 offset  The wheels in that pic cannot be -5 offset. I have seen 0 offset 7 inch rim and it sticks out more then that.
Andrew.
dude, that black s13 can be really clean. what did you do to the lights? just black them out?

Indeed.
It’s not mine, I can ask the guy if you wanna know something about it.
I just love the flushness. Oh god, so flush. I’ve soiled myself.
Wheels look sick, but the front seems ridiculously low. Is it just at an incline or something?
It’s slammed with a lip. Iquabob’s car is that low too.
They’re -5s. Trust me.
