Exactly like the title states… where do you like to go slide on a sunday night.
Im from Hamilton and have been looking for a good spot to just slide with some buddies for a while and not be bothered by anyone/ bother others.
This is the perfect spot even though there in British Columbia or somthing. : Even if its an hour away i wouldn’t mind the drive, but there’s gotta be somewhere good out there…

We all can’t afford to go to the track all the time, nor is the track always open… so maybe someone can find a legit spot like this somewhere! ^^^^^
#1 No one is going to tell you their spots on an internet forum. Period. #2 Unless your on private land with the owners permission you will eventually get bothered. #3 Just drive around and look, and don’t session anything for too long and blow it out. #4 You cannot be charged under the Highway Traffic Act if your hoonin’ in a parking lot. However it’s up to the officers discretion if they pursue something under the criminal code.
400+ hp, good suspenssion, good tire, good brake… off you go to 401 and 427 or 401 to 410… or just be a bad ass and hit dvp… smoke em up boys!!! hammmmmmer dooooowwwwn!!!
“highway” includes a common and public highway, street, avenue, parkway, driveway, square, place, bridge, viaduct or trestle, any part of which is intended for or used by the general public for the passage of vehicles and includes the area between the lateral property lines thereof; (“voie publique”)
So therefore, unless there are posted speed limits, a parking lot is considered private property and is under the Criminal Code.
HOWEVER. There are still multiple ways of being charged. Some, like trespassing and noise complaints are just fluff and easy enough to dodge, the serious concern is;
The accused drives a motor vehicle in a manner that is dangerous to the public, having regard to all the circumstances, including the nature, condition and, use of the place where the driving occurs and the amount of traffic there at the time or that might reasonably be expected.
So again, officers discretion. So. If it’s super late out, and your completely alone it won’t really stand up in court. Again, %100 depends on the officer and the mood their in.
Always be intelligent, well spoken and extremely polite if you ever do get busted.
Also, I’m not spraying this out of my ass, I’ve been through that exact situation before.
Forget Sharpcorners he always chirps shit on everyone’s forum. You do got to start somewhere. Snow drifting is the best time to start… after that move to wet, then dry. The speeds will increase as you go up and you have less chance of wrecking your car.
