I want to Dyno the new truck to get a baseline before I put all the go fast parts on to see the true gains. Most guys are around 305WHP and 550WTQ stock. I should be in the 500WHP 900WTQ range on the high side after a few minor bolt-ons.
Mike says no trucks on the Dyno, so Innovative is out. Anybody know of any shops local that will allow me to pull onto the dyno? It will have a clean tune on it so it WILL NOT have huge black clouds of diesel smoke, maybe a quick puff, but not more than a second or two of smoke.
So… any shop around here that you guys think will let me run it?
bald turbo freek here in rochester, btf racing
its setup more for trucks then cars right now my buddy with a cummings did some like like 1200 wtq a few weeks ago.
Anyone with a Dynojet (or similar dyno) shouldn’t have a problem putting you on. I have no idea why Mike had the problems he did, but there are plenty of Mustang dyno’s that handle trucks.
The truck was on the dyno there. But it barley fit I’m not sure what happened. Let me know where you go I’d like to do the same.
See what this thing does N/a like 5hp and 400 ft - lbs lol
either maneuvering the truck to the dyno or he is just not looking to have the wear and tear of that kind of power on his equipment. I am sure it is within the design limits but it can’t be that easy on it to put down 900#. Just protecting his investment i would imagine.
